HOLYOKE – Adam R. Auclair, 22, of Pleasant Street died Monday October 31, 2011 in Baystate Medical Center. Adam was born in Springfield; he grew up in Springfield and recently moved to Holyoke. He was a former employee of the Holyoke Soldier's Home and played guitar in a few local bands. He leaves a son Ethan Auclair of Springfield; his parents Ronald D. Auclair and his wife April of Springfield and Shelly (Cropper) Flathers and her husband John of Holyoke; two brothers Anthony Figueroa of Nebraska and Zachary Auclair of Springfield. He also leaves his paternal grandparents Rolland and Alice Auclair of Springfield and Ethan's mother Jackie Perez of Springfield. He was predeceased by his maternal grandparents Gail (Sullivan) Fleming and Richard Cropper. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday at 10:00am with burial at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to an education fund for Ethan c/o Peoples Bank, 825 Hampden Street, Holyoke, MA 01104.
