Aime J. Remillard
1941 – 2014

Feeding Hills – Aime J. Remillard, 72, of Southwick Street died Saturday in Baystate Medical Center. Aime was born in St. Raphael, Quebec and moved to the Springfield area in 1957. He worked for Roy Construction Company, LaRochelle Construction and the Kudlic Brothers Construction. He was predeceased by his wife Sandra (Mastrianni) Remillard. He leaves a daughter Renee Rem of New Jersey; two sisters Yvette Thibault and Louisette Voisine and her husband Yvon; his sister-in-laws Imelda, Gabrielle and Barbara Remillard; many nieces and nephews; his dog Bucky and horse China. Besides his wife Aime was predeceased by his brothers Leo, Raymond, Laurent and Fernand and brother-in-law George Thibault. He also leaves many friends at Collins Tavern, the Polish American Club and the Sportsman Club. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday from 5:00 – 8:00pm and the burial will be at the convenience of the family.
