HOLYOKE– Albert L. Poehler, 90,died Thursday in the Holyoke Soldier's Home. Albert was born in Springfield and had lived in Springfield most of his life. He was a retired Deputy Superintendent of the Springfield Park Department and served with the United States Army Air Corps during World War II. He was predeceased by his wife Doris E. Moore. He leaves a daughter Susan Nance of Daphne, AL; a step daughter and caregiver Nancy Manning of Feeding Hills and three grandsons. A committal service will be held at the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 9:00am. The Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
