Alexandra G. (Sopet) Orr, 103, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, May 31, 2026 at home.  Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Nicholas and Bronislawa (Szuba) Sopet, she was a lifelong resident of Agawam and a 1940 graduate of Agawam High School. Alexandra worked as a receptionist at the former Dr. Rodman's Office in Springfield.  She was a member of the Agawam Women's Club and the Agawam Congregational church. She  loved golfing, traveling, chocolate, and Prosecco. She leaves her husband of seventy-eight years, Raymond W. Orr, three sons, Gary W. Orr of Longmeadow, Gregory J. Orr of Agawam, Jeffrey A. Orr of Wellington, New Zealand, a daughter, Beverly A. Orr of Washington, DC, a sister, Helena Kerfoot of Virginia, three grandchildren, Michael Orr, Brian Orr, Betty Alice Orr-McFaull and a great-grandchild, Morgan.  All services are private and the Agawam Curran Jones Funeral Home is in charge.
