WEST SPRINGFIELD – Alexina M. (Lemoine) Fenn, 90, of Hillside Avenue died Sunday in a West Brookfield Nursing Home. Alexina was born and raised in Springfield and has lived in West Springfield since 1950. After the war, she worked at the Springfield Armory for a few years and then retired from Westvaco (U.S. Envelope) in 1985 after 25 years. She enjoyed her weekly Exercise Class with her best friend Ellie Paddock. Her husband George A. Fenn Jr. died in 1996 and a son Thomas G. Fenn died in 1992. She leaves her children Linda L. Wilson and her husband David of Warren, Wayne A. Fenn of West Springfield and Patricia A. Burlingham of West Springfield. She also leaves eleven grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. A private funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. For more details please visit curranjones.com.
