Alice M. Archambault
1932 – 2020
Chicopee – Alice M. (Orban) Archambault, 88, passed peacefully Saturday
morning surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born in Holyoke, graduated
from Holy Rosary High School and has lived in Chicopee since 1952. She worked
as a nurse's aide in local nursing homes, was a parishioner of St. Patrick's Church
and a member of the Women's Guild. She loved going to her family cottage in
Rhode Island, visiting casinos and playing cards at the Knights of Columbus in
Chicopee. Her husband George A. Archambault passed away in 2005 and she was
predeceased by her sister, Teresa Jakubasz, daughter Lynne Nute and recently a
son, Alan G. Archambault. She leaves behind two sons Dean and Glenn
Archambault; three grandchildren Shane Archambault, Jessica Nute, and Daniel
Nute, two great grandchildren Isabella and Zachary Nute and many nieces,
nephews, cousins and dear friends. Visiting hours will be held at the
Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home Friday from 9:30 – 10:30am followed by a Mass in
St. Patrick's Church at 11:00am. Her burial will be in St. Jerome's Cemetery. For
