Alice M. (Owen) Auclair, passed away peacefully at her home in Westfield, Friday, Feb 10, 2017. She was a wonderful mother --- family meant everything to her.  Alice was a loving, giving person, always putting others before herself.  She was a vibrant 85-year-old - still driving and liked dressing in the latest fashion.  A great seamstress, she loved gardening, entertaining, but most of all; being with family and friends. She was an active communicant at St. Peter and St. Casimir Parish of Westfield. She is survived by her beloved husband of 67 years - Rolland Auclair.  In addition to her husband, Alice is survived by two daughters:  Barbara Lynch and husband Steve of Westwood, Carol Gowrie and her husband Bobby, of Springfield, two sons: John Auclair and wife Barbara of Ludlow and Ron Auclair and wife April of Springfield.  Her brother, Richard Owen and wife Helen of Chicopee, grandsons Sean Auclair and Zack Auclair and great grandson Ethan, as well as nieces and nephews. Alice was pre-deceased by brothers Leonard, Thomas and Edward Owen and her grandson Adam Auclair. A service in celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 4, 11am, at Curran-Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, West Springfield.  Visiting hours will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 from 4-7pm.
