Alice G. Demoracski
1922 – 2013

WEST SPRINGFIELD – Alice G. (Bencivenni) Demoracski, 90, formerly of Burford Avenue died Tuesday in a local nursing home surrounded by her family. Alice was born in Springfield and has lived in West Springfield most of her life. She worked at General Fibre Box Company and was a communicant of the former Immaculate Conception Church. Her husband Walter Demoracski died in 1998. She leaves three children Mark and Brian Demoracski, and Deborah Polastry and her husband Richard all of West Springfield; three sisters Dorothy Buoniconti, Madeline Simpson and Mary Fortin; four grandchildren Sharon and Adam Polastry and Andrea and Michael Demoracski; and three great grandchildren, Mya, Mathew and Chace. Besides her husband Alice was predeceased by a son Michael Denny in 1991. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday at 11:00am followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral home service on Saturday from 9:30-11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to American Diabetes Association.
