Alice D. Gamelli

WESTFIELD – Alice D. (Jacques) Gamelli, 89, formerly of West Springfield died at the home of her son in Westfield surrounded by her loving family. Alice was born in Williamstown, Vermont and had lived in West Springfield most of her life before recently moving to Westfield. She was a retired School Cafeteria Manager for the West Springfield School System and a longtime communicant of the former St. Ann's Church. Her husband Louis Gamelli died in 1993. She leaves three sons Dr. Richard Gamelli of Burr Ridge, IL; Dennis Gamelli and Daniel Gamelli both of Westfield; a sister Cecile Carpenter; a brother Alphonse Jacques; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. The funeral will be held in St. Frances Xavier Cabrini Church Tuesday at 10:00am followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
