Allen J. Guimond died Saturday Oct. 22, 2016, on his 80th birthday, at Wingate, West Springfield. He was a lifelong resident of South Hadley. He was born Oct. 22, 1936 to John P. and Dorothy (Knowles) Guimond. He leaves two sisters, Jacqueline Bourque (Leonard) of South Hadley and June Sulewski of Fairview and several nieces and nephews. He also leaves his dear friend Sandra Fernandes. A funeral home service will be Wednesday at 11 am at the CURRAN-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 33 Lamb St., South Hadley. Burial will be private.
