Obituary

Allen S. Lesik, 48, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 31, 2016 at home surrounded by his family after a short battle with cancer. Born in Holyoke, he was a lifelong resident of Chicopee. Allen worked as a machinist at Carauster Paper Manufacturer. He was an avid fisherman and sports enthusiast and enjoyed watching the Dallas Cowboys. Allen's best enjoyment was watching his son playing baseball. He was a communicant of St. Rose de Lima Church. He leaves his wife, Lisa A. (Blair) Lesik, a son, Allen C. Lesik at home, two daughters, Ashley Flanders of Florida, Sara Cote of Chicopee, his parents, Carl and Theresa (Belisle) Lesik of Chicopee, a brother and his wife, Wayne and Kendra Lesik of Ludlow, two sisters and their husbands, Annette and Robert Naginewicz of Chicopee, Lisa and Sam Polep of Longmeadow, three grandchildren, Allanah Smith, Devyn Smith, Jordan Thibodeau, and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a sister, Michelle Dillon, a sister-in-law, Tanya Blair, his maternal grandparents, Clovis and Germaine Belisle, and his paternal grandparents, Stanley and Rose Lesik. The funeral will be Tuesday at 7pm at the CURRAN-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley. The burial will be private. Calling hours will precede the service on Tuesday from 4-7pm. The family encourages you to wear your favorite team sports shirt in honor of Allen.
