Allen D. Ricker Sr.
1939 – 2011

AGAWAM – Allen David Ricker Sr., 71, of Walnut Street died Saturday at home surrounded by his loving family. Allen was born and raised in Bellows Falls, VT and has lived in the Northeast his entire life. He served in the United States Navy and was a retired Heavy Equipment Operator working for various construction firms in the Springfield area. He leaves his wife of 40 years Margaret E. (Schooley) Ricker; seven children Anthony, Patrick, Alison, Allena, Allen Jr., David and Debbie. He also leaves nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren and a sister Maryanne. A memorial service will be held Friday from 6:00pm – 8:00pm at the family home, 69 Walnut Street, Agawam. The Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
