Allison Yacoub, 40, unexpectedly passed away at her home in Hartford, CT on January 1, 2022. She was born on April 21, 1981 and after years of living in Florida and New York, she returned home to Hartford to live closer to family. Allison graduated High School in the year 1999 from Conard High School in West Hartford CT. If you knew Allison, you knew she loved music. She absolutely loved going to concerts to see her favorite bands and artists. Her love for animals, being in nature or around large bodies of water, and also adventuring to the worlds end spoke volumes to anyone she knew. In 2003, she gave birth to her proudest achievement, her daughter Annabella whom Allison would go above and beyond to make sure was always taken care of. Allison was a wonderful daughter to Elias and Jodie (Sykura) Yacoub. She made an indefinite effect on her siblings George, Nadia, Ashley, and Angelina. She always made an effort to be a role model of an aunt to Brittany, Kayla, Olivia, Isaiah, Nevaeh, Logan, Noah, Willow, Anthony and AJ. Allison always loved her time with her own aunt and uncle Melinda and Jay Sykura and her cousin Adam as well. Her lasting impression leaves many friends empty after her passing. She was preceded in death by her nephew, Justin, and then her brother, Yousseff, less than three months before her own passing. Memorials will be held on Tuesday January 11, 2022 at the West Springfield Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street from 4-7 pm. Allison was a person many looked up to.
