Alma Butler Bellany

1926 – 2018

West Springfield – Alma (Bouthellier) Butler Bellany, 92 of West Springfield died April 23, 2018.  Alma was the daughter of the late Rosario and Olia Butler.  She was the wife of the late William Bellany Sr., who died in 1992.  She worked for Gaskill and Son and Graphic Printing for many years.  She leaves her son William Bellany Jr. and his wife Ann; a grandson Eric Bellany all of Arlington, VA; a sister Lucille Foisey and many nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by her siblings Edward, Carl and Lorraine Butler, Marguerite Goneau, Edna Ruggiera, Rita Daniel, and Lulu Potter.  The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday at 11:00am followed by burial in St. Mary's Cemetery in Westfield.  Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Alma's grandson's Group Home, Community Residences Inc. 5563 N. 16 ^th Street, Arlington, VA 22205.
