WEST SPRINGFIELD – Alphonse W. Brunelle, Jr., 87, entered into eternal rest on Monday, September 27, 2021 at home surrounded by his family. Born in Holyoke, son of the late Alphonse and Leonie (Dietrich) Brunelle, he was a graduate of Chicopee Vocational High School, a member of the Army National Guard 104 ^th Infantry and lived in West Springfield for fifty-eight years. As the owner of Al Brunelle Electric, he wired over a thousand homes. Al was happiest with his family on the water fishing or skiing.  He leaves his wife of fifty-eight years, Jacqueline (Baker) Brunelle, a daughter and her husband, Suzanne and Frank Marsh of Wakefield, MA, a son and his wife, Paul and K.C. Brunelle of Sarasota, FL, and four grandchildren, Alison Marsh, Travis Marsh, Jay Brunelle and Max Brunelle.  Relatives and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 10am at St. Thomas the Apostle Church, 47 Pine Street, West Springfield.  The burial is private and there are no calling hours.
