AGAWAM – Angelina M. (Staccio) Friss, 96, formerly of Witheridge Street died Thursday in a local nursing home. Angelina was born in Springfield and has lived in Agawam since 1946. She was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills. Her husband Arthur G. Friss died in 1982. She leaves two sons Robert and his wife Sandra of Southwick and Richard A. Friss of Libby, MT; a sister Lena Boucher of Springfield; four grandchildren David, Jeremy, Seth Friss and Karen Parker, ten great grandchildren and a great great grandson. The funeral will be held at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home Tuesday at 11:00am followed by burial in Springfield Street Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held prior to the funeral Tuesday morning from 10:00 – 11:00am. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children's Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
