Angelo C. "Butchie" Librera, 76, of Zephyrhills, FL and Westhampton MA, retired from the USPS, died Thursday, July 21, 2022. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of Vietnam and a lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox. He was predeceased by his parents, Calvin R. Librera, Annie C. DiDonato and Lillian (Brothers) Trocki, his brothers, Dennis Librera, Joseph Melanson, and his sister, Karon Melanson. He leaves his wife, Delia (Merced) Librera, of Zephyrhills FL, a daughter Lynn and her husband Tim Millican, of Fort Worth TX, a son, Anthony and his wife Stephanie Librera, of New Port Richey FL, a brother, Calvin Librera of Springfield, three sisters, Margaret Ryan of Agawam, Deborah Jewett of Barre, VT, Sharon LeBlanc of Panama City, FL. He also leaves seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren, who knew him as Grandpa Librera, and fourteen nieces and nephews who knew him as Uncle Butchie. He has several other family and friends who loved him and will miss him. Angelo passed in his home in Zephyrhills, FL surrounded by family. The funeral will be Wednesday, August 3, 2022 at 1pm at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
