Angelo A. Liquori, 79, of San Juan Capistrano, California departed peacefully on November 17, 2014 after a lengthy illness. He was born in West Springfield, Massachusetts and graduated from Cathedral High School in 1953. He later started his own home building business in Wilbraham, Massachusetts. He built ten to fifteen quality homes and custom built homes a year in mostly Wilbraham and Longmeadow, Massachusetts from 1955 to 1975. Angelo was a skilled craftsman in his trade. While he framed every house he built, his real passion and true talent was in completing the finish work, which included building custom cabinets on-site and spiral staircases for some of the larger homes. In the mid-70's and early 80's he started to do commercial work over a large part of the state. In 1984 he formed B.G.L. Corp., which he co-owned with Raymond Boileau. That company built numerous service stations, and petroleum-related facilities throughout Massachusetts, Connecticut and Vermont. He retired from that business in 2001 and resided in San Clemente and San Juan Capistrano, California until he passed away. He was the son of the late Anthony J. Liquori and Simone Liquori. He will be deeply missed by his wife Gwendolyn Liquori. He leaves his children Linda Bartley (Bruce) of Greenwich, Connecticut, Donna Danis of Warren, Ohio, Stephen Liquori of Brooks, Georgia, Jeffrey Liquori (Maureen) of Hampden, Massachusetts, Anne Marie Liquori of Ludlow, Massachusetts, and step-daughter Shelly Carolan (John) of New Hope, Pennsylvania. Additionally, he leaves his brother Anthony Liquori and his wife Mary of Somers, Connecticut, his brother William and wife Patricia of Yorktown, Virginia, his sister Phyllis and husband Jed of Manhattan, New York and his brother Gary and wife Patricia of Southwick, Massachusetts. A private family service has already taken place in both San Clemente, California and Springfield, Massachusetts. At the family's request, donations may be made in his name to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th Floor, New York, NY 10001
