Ann Marie Gentry
1938-2015
West Springfield – Ann Marie (Sussman) Gentry, in loving memory of our mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Born and raised in West Springfield she graduated from Cathedral High School in Springfield and also attended Florida Community College in Jacksonville Florida. A veteran of the United States Navy from 1959-1967 she served honorably with a rank of Yeoman 2nd class. Her husband Conley E. F. Gentry died in 1985. She leaves behind three sons Douglas V. of El Paso, Charles D. of Agawam, Conley Jr. of Washington Terrace, UT. and four grandchildren. She also leaves behind her brothers, Richard L. of Reno, NV, Douglas R. of West Springfield, and sisters Margret Slattery, of Springfield, and Marie-Louise Payne of Indian Orchard. Besides her husband Ann was predeceased by her mother, Mary M. (Douglas) Sussman and father, Ralph H. Sussman as well as brother Robert Sussman. We love and miss you Mom, may you rest in peace. Committal services were held in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery and the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home handled all arrangements.
