Anna J. Molta
1911 – 2011

AGAWAM – Anna J. (Wojtowicz) Molta, 100, of Agawam died Sunday-Christmas Day in a local nursing home. Anna was born in Springfield the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine (Skowron) Wojtowicz and has lived in Agawam since 1948. She was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist Church and member of the Agawam Senior Center. Anna enjoyed knitting and crocheting, spending time with family and playing cards with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her husband John P. Molta died in 1989 and a son John G. Molta died in 2008. She leaves her children Daniel Molta and his wife Nancy of Sturbridge, Kenneth Molta and his wife Candace of Florida and Gloria Anderson and her husband Joe of Agawam. She also leaves a sister Jennie Szarlan of Ludlow, eight grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren. She was also predeceased by a sister Helen Guzik and three brothers Steve, Frank, and Mitchell Wojtowicz. The funeral will be held at the AGAWAM CURRAN-JONES FUNERAL HOME Thursday at 9:30 with Liturgy in St. John the Evangelist Church at 11:00am followed by burial in Hillcrest Park Cemetery.
