Obituary for Anne H. Withee-Kelley
Hampton, NH - Anne H. Withee Kelley, 80, of Hampton, died peacefully Friday, October 17, 2014 at Portsmouth Regional Hospital. She was born on July 15th 1934, in Springfield Mass., a daughter of the late John Gladstone and Natalie (Hutchins) Hardy. Anne grew up in West Springfield, Mass., the second of four children where she graduated second in her class from W. Springfield High School. Anne spent the past six years at The Partridge House in Hampton where the excellent staff cared for her in an extraordinary way. Anne lived a full and rich life and was loved and admired by all who had the privilege to know her. She had a strong set of core values that she lovingly passed down to her children and ultimately to her 4 Grandchildren; she was a remarkable person. A longtime member of First Congregational Church, she was an active volunteer in her church and a very well respected lady throughout her community. She will be deeply missed by her sons, Chuck Withee and his wife Diane of Hampton, Stewart Withee and his wife Jill of West Springfield and Fred Withee of Agawam; her sisters, Mary Randall and her husband Bob and Natalie Ford all of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Michaela, Morgan, Robert and Seth and the many nieces and nephews who adored her and her former husband Stewart A. Withee Sr. In addition to her parents she was predeceased recently by her brother Peter Hardy and her second husband Ralph E. Kelley. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to a memorial service to be held at the First Congregational Church, Park Street, West Springfield on Sunday, November 16th at 2:00pm. The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.
