Anthony Cecchetelli
1933 – 2014

WEST SPRINGFIELD – Anthony Cecchetelli, 80, died Tuesday in Baystate Medical Center. Anthony was born in the Bronx, moved to Springfield's South End in 1943 and came to West Springfield in 1948. He graduated from West Springfield High School and worked as an Auto Body Technician for Houser Buick. He was an avid golfer and loved to walk. He leaves his six children Anthony and his wife Kathy, Thomas and his wife Paula, Timothy and his wife Margaret, Ted and his wife Margaret, Todd and Tracy Cecchetelli all of West Springfield; two brothers Richard and Dominic; three sisters Frances Nigro, Louise Terzi and Mary Gay and eleven grandchildren. The visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00pm. A private funeral will be held Friday with private burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
