Obituary

Westfield - Anthony O. Cruz Reyes, 41, died Sunday evening at the Western Massachusetts Hospital Hospice. Anthony, born in Rio Piedras, Puerto Rico, came to Springfield at a young age and attended Central High School. He worked as a route manager for Ecolab and most recently for Eastern Bag and Paper as a territory manager. Anthony was best known in Western Mass for his musical talents, heading up several bands with friends and with his record label, Frequency Deleted Records. He played with, recorded and promoted several successful bands. He was a mentor to many. Outside of work, Anthony was devoted to his wife, Trisha, and daughter, Trinnity. Time was spent watching movies, out to dinner, or traveling to favorite locations, especially Nantucket, where Anthony and Trisha were married on the beach. Anthony leaves his wife Trisha (Harvey) Cruz; daughter Trinnity Cruz; mother Luz Reyes and her husband Ruben Fuentes; two brothers Luis and Jose Cruz and sister Rhaisa Cruz; and several nieces and a nephew. Anthony was predeceased by his father Luis Cruz. Visiting hours with the family will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, with a Celebration of Life Service at 5:00 pm.
