Obituary

Anthony J. "Tony" Frogameni passed away unexpectedly in Warwick, RI on Sunday, May 25, 2025. Born in Springfield to the late Joseph and Diane (Costello) Frogameni. In his early years Tony started a garden center with his brother Joe in Somers, CT. He continued his love of landscaping and worked most of his life in that field up until the time he passed.

Tony was full of life and one of the most selfless people you could ever meet. He was always the one that everyone could count on in their time of need. Those who knew Tony probably have been a recipient of his kind gestures over the years. His generosity of his time and skills to anyone he could help speaks volumes of the life he lived.

His personality was infectious and if you had the privilege to be in a social setting with him, he was the life of every party and could easily bring a smile to anyone's face. Nothing made him happier than being with family and friends making memories.

Tony was an active member of the Somers, CT Lions Club, and loved the outdoors and deep-sea fishing with his brothers, friends, and nephew.

In addition to his love for plants and landscaping Tony also had several passions including building projects around his home and helping family and friends tackle large projects at their homes. What made Tony happy in life was helping his friends and family, but his true loves were his wife Bridget B. (Dempsey) Frogameni who he was married to for 39 wonderful years, and his amazing son Anthony Frogameni.

Tony is survived by his wife Bridget (Dempsey) Frogameni and his son, Anthony Frogameni and his partner Dramere Graham of Granby, CT. His three brothers, Vincent Frogameni and Anne of Coventry, CT., Joe Frogameni and Dawn of Springfield, MA and Jay Frogameni and Cassandra of Niantic, CT.

Tony also leaves behind 9 nieces and nephews, Joseph, Natalia, Nicholas, Britney, Vincent, John, Nicco, Gianna and Nichole, and 15 great nieces and nephews.

A celebration of Tony's life will take place on Sunday, June 8, 2025 from 11am-3pm at Crestview Country Club, 281 Shoemaker Lane, Agawam, MA. In leu of flowers please send donations to Dreaming and Working Together
