Antoinette "Toni" Vekakis, 98, passed away Dec 30, 2025. She was born on June 27, 1927 to the late George and Eva Galiatsos. Toni worked for many years in the cafeteria for the West Springfield school system. She enjoyed playing cards, trips to the casino, going to the beach and pretty much anything to do with being with her family. Toni was predeceased by her husband Michael Vekakis in 1984. She leaves her children; Nicholas (Sandee) Vekakis, Thomas (Michelle) Vekakis, Elaine (Paul) DiCarlo and Maria Londo, 11 grandchildren; Nicholas, Andrew and Krista DiCarlo, Michael, Matthew, Thomas and Samuel Vekakis, Sarah Sharp, Micaela, Madeline and Timothy Londo, her 9 great grandchildren; Mason, Dylan, Joaquin and Sebastian DiCarlo, Madison Conway, Christopher and Taylor Sharp, Jace Vekakis and Jayden Londo, her brothers Victor (Mary) Galiatsos and George (Magda) Galiatsos and her sister Olga Captain. Toni also leaves many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews and her longtime hairstylist Amy, who always made her look like a million bucks. Besides her husband, she was also predeceased by her son Michael, and her siblings; Eddie, Steve, John Galiatsos, Mary Katsounakis, Bessie Kalmakis and Despina Danalis.
