Obituary

Antoinette (Ferrentino) Veneroni, 94, formerly of West Springfield joined her husband and daughters in His Eternal Kingdom on Tuesday, surrounded by her family and the best nurses and aids you could ask for at St. Ann's Nursing home, her loving home for the past 4 years. She was born in Fimiani, Italy, the daughter of the late Giovanni and Flora (Capuano) Ferrentino. She lived in West Springfield most of her life after arriving by boat in 1955. She lived in Texas, Ohio and New Hampshire with her family and finally settling in New Hampshire. She worked as a seamstress for many years and was a communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church. She loved to sing and we are sure she is entertaining people in heaven. She is predeceased by her husband Luigi "Gino" Veneroni, who has been waiting in heaven for her since 1976. She is now watching over her devoted son Gino Veneroni and his wife Kimberly of Northwood, New Hampshire; her lights of her life Lily and Domenic as well as her brother-in-law Livio Veneroni of Dorno Italy and several nieces, nephews and cousins throughout Italy. The funeral will begin at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Monday at 9:00am followed by the Liturgy at St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 10:00am and burial in St. Thomas Cemetery where she will be laid to rest next to her husband and daughters. Visiting hours will be held Sunday from 4-7 at Curran Jones, Main Street, West Springfield. Memorial contributions may be made to the Activity Fund at St. Ann's Nursing Home, 195 Dover Point Rd, Dover NH 03820.
