Obituary

Arthur Clayton Mallory Jr., 92, died Saturday at home. He was born in Sudbury, VT, son of the late Arthur C. Mallory and Marion (Griffin) Mallory DeLancey. He was born and raised in Sudbury, VT and was a retired route distribution driver for Sealtest Foods. Arthur served in the US Navy from 1946 to 1948 and was a member of Teamsters Local #402. He was predeceased by his wife Hazel (Jordan) Mallory. He leaves his two sons Daryl G. Mallory of Holyoke and Wayne A. Mallory of Agawam, two daughters Diane L. Mallory of Agawam and Janet Mallory Carter of Two Rivers, AK, brother Donald Mallory and his wife Sue of Lancaster, PA, sister Eleanor Zawistowski and her husband Henry of Rutland, VT, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. He was also predeceased by his siblings Viola Walker Postmanter, Ruth Westcom, Irene Hallet, Reta Holt and Gordon Mallory. The funeral will be Tuesday January 19 th starting with a calling hour from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home followed by a funeral home service at 11:00 am. Burial with Military Honors will follow the service in Hillcrest Park Cemetery. Masks, social distancing and reduced numbers at the funeral home will be in effect due to Covid 19.
