Austin C. Kimball, II, 80, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, April 7, 2024 at Baystate Medical Center. Born in Springfield, son of the late Austin and Clara (Dutton) Kimball, he grew up in Springfield and was a 1962 graduate of Commerce High School where he played baseball and football. Austin served 3 years of active duty in the U.S. navy in the Vietnam War. He worked for Dealer Supply and V & F Auto Parts in Agawam as a customer service representative. He enjoyed golfing, fishing, candlepin bowling, cards, trips to the "SPA," coaching Agawam Little League Baseball, and selflessly attending all of his son's hockey and baseball games. He leaves his wife, Lynne E. (Priesing) Kimball, a son and his wife, Austin C. Kimball III and Gina Kimball of Feeding Hills, two grandchildren who called him "Pa," Aidan and Gianna Kimball, two loving sisters, Susan Pegoraro, Debra and her husband James Bourque, his favorite "bro" and his wife, Leslie and Gigi Kimball of Ludlow, and Aunt Pauline Kimball, all of Springfield, several nieces and nephews, and close friends Roland Navone and George Cornwell. You will be missed, you were a large part of our hearts and now that part is missing. All are invited to attend a gathering of friends and family on Thursday, April 11, 2024 from 4-7pm at Oak Ridge Country Club, 850 South Westfield Street, Feeding Hills. The funeral will be Friday, April 12, 2024 at 8:30am at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street, with a Funeral Home Service at 9. The burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers please donate in Austin's name to Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, P.O.
