Avis L. (Hackett) Brusig, 91, died Tuesday. She was born in West Springfield and moved to Wyoming briefly before moving back to Agawam. She was a member of the Agawam Congregational Church, the Order of the Eastern Star #144 and a member of the Agawam Bowling League. Her husband Wilbur Brusig died in 2003. She leaves a son Jeffrey Brusig and his wife Beth of Virgina Beach, VA, a granddaughter Andrea and her cousin Ken Bruhm and his family of West Springfield. Family and friends are invited to a memorial service Friday, April 1, 2016 at 4:00pm in the Agawam Congregational Church, 745 Main Street, Agawam, MA.
