Barbara A. Bouchard

Westfield – Barbara A. (Ortolani) Bouchard, 81, of Woodcliff Drive died Saturday evening surrounded by her loving family.  Barbara was born in Springfield, grew up in West Springfield, and has lived in Westfield for the past 22 years.  She worked as a Dental Hygienist for several years.  She operated Ortolani Inc. until 1986 along with her husband Robert of nearly 60 years. The couple were long time food concessionaires at the Eastern States Exposition, retiring in 2005. She loved to travel and shop. She leaves her husband Robert A. Bouchard; two sons Peter R. and Dr. Glen M. Bouchard; five grandchildren Robert, Christina, Jackie, Cameron & Courtney and six great grandchildren Nicolette, Wyatt, Jayden, Crystal Lee, Josh & Peter.  The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Saturday at 9:00am with Liturgy in St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 10:00am followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.  Visiting hours will be held Friday from 4:00 – 7:00pm.  For more details please visit curranjones.com.  Memorial contributions may be made to Alzheimer's Association (alz.org).
