FEEDING HILLS-Barbara J. (Jarvis) Fournier passed away on March 25, 2014 at home with the comfort of her children at her side. She was the daughter of the late Louis Jarvis Sr. and Leola (Clark) Jarvis. She was predeceased by her husband Roland R. Fournier. Barbara leaves her son Mark R. Fournier, his wife Darci and grandchildren Jared and Julia of Westfield, her daughter Dawn (Fournier) Parker, her husband Ken and granddaughter Melanie of West Springfield and sisters Gloria Plasse and Claire Jarvis of Feeding Hills and her sister Joan Jarvis of Chicopee. She was predeceased by her brothers Louis Jarvis Jr., Harold Jarvis and her sister Shirley Zebrowski. Barbara was born in Springfield and attended Springfield schools, graduating from Technical High School in 1951. She began working at New England Telephone Company in 1951 and retired in 1992. Barbara loved her family and God most of all. The funeral will be Monday at 11:30 am at Cornerstone Church, 15 Kibbe Road, E. Longmeadow followed by committal service in the Mass Veteran's Cemetery in Agawam. Calling hours at the Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home will be Sunday 2:00 to 5:00 pm.
