LUDLOW – Barbara J. (Owen) Howe, 65, entered into eternal rest on Monday, August 9, 2021. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late David L. and Winona (Graves) Owen, she lived in Springfield, Agawam, and many years in Chicopee before recently moving to Ludlow. Barbara worked for many years at Dielectrics company and had also worked at the former Southworth Paper Company.  She leaves her husband of fourteen years, but they have been together for many more years, Gerald L. Howe, a brother, John Owen of Southampton, and a sister, Judy Dumont of Chicopee. She was predeceased by a sister, Sandra Tkaczek and a brother, Ronald Owen.  The funeral will be Monday, August 16, 2021 at 7pm at the West Springfield Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street.  The burial will be Tuesday at 10am in St. Thomas Cemetery, West Springfield. Calling hours will precede the service on Monday, from 4-7pm.
