Barbara L. (Blanchard) L'Esperance, 85, died Wednesday at Renaissance Manor in Holyoke. She was born in Holyoke and lived most of her life in South Hadley, graduating from South Hadley High School in 1949. Barbara was a communicant of St. Theresa Church and worked at Mt. Holyoke College for 20 years. She leaves her husband Robert L'Esperance, a son Robert C. L'Esperance and his wife Christine of Belchertown, two daughters Nancy A. L'Esperance of East Granby, CT and Pamela J. Kellogg and her husband Paul of South Hadley, a sister Betty Arnold of Clearwater, FL and three grandchildren Daniel and Marissa Kellogg and Sarah L'Esperance. Friends and family may meet for the funeral Mass Friday at 10 am in St. Theresa Church. Burial will follow in St. Rose Cemetery. No calling hours.
