Bennie M. (Shipe) Daly passed away Wednesday having lived 31,242 days of life. Born in Knoxville County, TN, beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, GG, auntie and friend. She graduated from Loudon High School and the Broms Beauty Academy in Holyoke. She was a U.S. Navy veteran and Manager of Figures and Fitness Health Club in Chicopee for 17 years. She lived most of her life in South Hadley with her husband William P. Daly Jr. until his death in 2001. She was the mother of six children; Deborah Edwards and her husband Francis of Granby, Patricia McIntyre and her husband Dug of New Mexico, Jody Daly and her partner Jim Barna of Westfield and Rebecca Shipe Weibel and her husband Albert Weibel Jr. of Chicopee, 11 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a great number of nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her daughter B. Faith Daly and her son William P. Daly III. She loved yoga, gardening, babies, family gatherings and of course her precious dog Trinity and cat Joey. The funeral home service will be Saturday May 11th at 11 am at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home followed by committal services with Military Honors at Village Cemetery in South Hadley.
