Bernard J. Grummell, Jr., 75, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, September 15, 2022.  Born in Springfield, son of the late Bernard and Mary (Johnson) Grummell, he lived Chicopee for many years.  Bernard for O'Connell Construction company in Holyoke and previously worked for the former Oscar Bails Shoe Store in Holyoke for over thirty years.  He leaves his wife of fifty-three years, Gertrude (Mercier) Grummell, two daughters, Tina A. Kibbe of Chicopee, Karen L. Lition of Holyoke, two brothers, Alan Grummell of Orange, MA, Thomas Grumell of Virginia, and a granddaughter, Kaylee M. Rosario-Grummell.  All services are private and the West Springfield Curran Jones Funeral Home is in charge.
