WEST SPRINGFIELD – Bernard C. Larsen, 75 of Victorian Drive died Friday at home. Bern was born and raised in Chicago and has lived in the West Springfield area for the past 50 years. He was a retired Mail Carrier in West Springfield for the United State Post Office. An active communicant of St. Thomas the Apostle Church, Bern was a longtime member of the Choir, and served as a Eucharistic Minister. He leaves his children Laura Davis of Washington Scott and Eric Larsen of Springfield; his former wife Carol (Guest) Larsen; six grandchildren and two great grandchildren. He also leaves his dear friends, the Chapman family as well as the parishioners of St Thomas Church. The funeral will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Friday at 9:00am with Liturgy in St. Thomas the Apostle Church at 10:00am followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veteran's Memorial Cemetery.
