Beryl A. (Colwell) Fahringer, 93, entered into eternal rest on Monday, November 27, 2023 at home. Born in Wilkes-Barre, PA, daughter of the late Charles and Louise (Davies) Colwell, she grew up in Dallas, PA and  lived in Walpole,  Wheaton, IL, South Orange, NJ, Birmingham, AL and Cleveland before moving to West Springfield twenty-four years ago.  Beryl had been an active member of the Mitteneague Congregational Church and other churches where she had lived. She was happiest spending time with her family. She leaves her husband of seventy years, Sheldon "Paul" Fahringer, two daughters, Holly L. LeRoyer of South Thomason, ME, Paula J. and her husband, Michael Nestor of West Springfield, and a grandson, Brandon Nestor of West Springfield. The funeral will be Thursday at 10am at the Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street followed by burial in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery. Calling hours are prior to the service on Thursday from 9:30 - 10am. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shriner's Hospital, 516 Carew Street, Springfield, MA 01104.
