Obituary

Betty Ann (Bonin) Fenn, 73, of 1058 Park Street died Tuesday surrounded by her loving family at UMass Memorial Hospital in Worcester. Betty was born in Worcester and moved many times during her life but always seemed to end up back in West Springfield before she finally moved to Palmer in 2004. A retired Home Health Aide, she worked for Baystate Health. Betty was a longtime parishioner of the Bible Baptist Church in West Springfield. Her husband Thomas G. Fenn died in 1992.  She was also predeceased by her parents, Walter Bonin and Margaret (Vigneaux) Flint, her stepfather Donald Flint, and her brother Walter Bonin of San Francisco, CA. She leaves her brother William Bonin of Auburn and half siblings Linda, Brian, Wayne, Todd, Lawrence, Michael, and Carol Bonin. She leaves her children: Randall of W. Springfield; Michelle Fenn and fiancé William Keating of W. Springfield; Theresa Corbin and husband Christopher of Ludlow; Darrin and wife Lori of Granby; Peggy Rennie of North Dakota; and Lisa Chamberlain and husband Donald of Fairport Harbor, OH. She leaves her grandchildren: Cheyenne Hrapek; Damien Ruffy; Evan Fenn; Nathan Corbin; Mia Przybycien; Ethan Fenn; Blake, Eric, J.D., and Stephan Estrada; Michael, Jason, and Paul Farris; and great-grandson Liam Estrada. Lastly, she leaves her partner of over 16 yrs. David Hale of Palmer, who, in the last several years served as her caregiver, and Dave's children Matthew of Palmer and Jennifer of W. Brookfield. Visiting hours will be held Monday, September 23 rd 4:00 – 7:00pm at Curran Jones Main St. W. Springfield and the funeral home service will be held Tuesday, September 24th at 11:00am officiated by Rev. Job C. Hicks, followed by burial in St. Thomas Cemetery.
