WEST SPRINGFIELD – Betty L. (Herter) Fitzpatrick, 75, of Druids Lane died Saturday at home. Betty was born in Palmer, the daughter of the late Frederick and Roberta (Thompson) Herter. She graduated from Palmer High School and has lived in West Springfield most of her life. She was a retired Nurse's Aide for the Western Mass Hospital and was active with the West Springfield Senior Center. She leaves three sons Robert Jr. of Agawam, Kevin of Springfield and Randy of Westfield; her beloved dog BJ; three grandchildren Alisha, Joshua and Cody; and a great grandson Hayden. She was predeceased by a brother Frederick. Visiting hours will be held at the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home Thursday from 4:00 – 7:00pm and a private funeral will be held at a later date.
