Betty M. Kazalski

1930 – 2018

CHICOPEE – Betty M. (Wright) Kazalski, 87, died Tuesday at home surrounded by her loving family.  Betty was born in New York, grew up in Holyoke and has lived in Chicopee for the past 63 years.  She was a full-time mother and dedicated wife.  She loved to bake and always found a way to give her time to help someone, especially family.  She leaves her husband of 67 years Joseph E. Kazalski; a daughter Evelyn M. Beaulieu and her husband Norman Morrissette; seven grandchildren Laura Mercier, Heidi Waite, Janine and Jeffery Beaulieu, Christopher, Charlotte and Joe D. G. Kazalski and eight great grandchildren Colby, Nolan, Callie, Elizabeth, Dylan, Zoey, Brennan and Ariana.  Sadly, Betty was predeceased by her son Joseph M. Kazalski in 2015.  Visiting hours will be held at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home, 33 Lamb Street, South Hadley on Thursday from 4:30 – 7:00pm.  Family and friends are invited to meet at St. Theresa's Church, 9 E Parkview Drive, South Hadley for the Liturgy of Christian Burial Friday, May 11, 2018 at 9:00am followed by burial in Mater Dolorosa Cemetery.  For more details please visit curranobrien.com.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Holyoke VNA & Hospice Life Care, 575 Beech Street, Holyoke, 01040.
