WEST SPRINGFIELD-Betty Lou (Allen) Titcomb, born November 22, 1927, passed away Monday, February 17, 2014. She was a long time math teacher in the West Springfield Public School system. After retirement, she traveled the country in a pickup truck towing her 5th wheel trailer. She enjoyed winters in the warm south and returned north in the spring for family visits. Along the way, Betty would join RV rallies with her friends to share dancing, art, crafts and stories of road adventures. Betty leaves her daughter, Shelley and Bob Walker of West Springfield, MA, her son, Neil and Carol Titcomb of Branford, CT along with her grandchildren, Christopher and wife, Katie Titcomb of Rehoboth, MA and Nathan Titcomb and fiancé Joy Mitchell of Tiverton, RI. Betty is also survived by her ex-husband, Sheldon M. Titcomb, of Westfield, MA. There are no calling hours or funeral service. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
