July 14, 1951 – October 13, 2025
Beverly J. (Bath) Granger 74, entered into eternal rest on Monday, October 13, 2025. Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Charles and Dorothy (Hatch) Bath. She was a lifelong resident of West Springfield and a 1969 graduate of West Springfield High School. She attended New England College in Henniker, New Hampshire. She completed her Bachelors and Masters Degree in the field of Education. Beverly was a remedial Elementary Math Teacher for 37 years. She started her career at Park Avenue School, Memorial School and found her forever teaching home at Cowing/Coburn Elementary School. Teaching was more than just a job for her, it was her passion. She helped shape many lives along the way, and made many lifelong friends out of her coworkers. While working , and raising her family she was a part of many clubs and organizations. She was active in the West Springfield Education Association, Mass Teachers Association, PERT, Kiwanis Club, and helped run the Key Club at the High School. Beverly was a social butterfly who loved to play cards, take trips to the Cape, Florida, New York and Lake Winnepasaukee. She was an avid Red Sox fan and lover of the arts! Beverly leaves behind her devoted husband of 46 years, Christopher Granger who took care of her until the very end. She leaves behind her two daughters, and their husbands, Lindsay B. and Allan Theriaque Jr. of West Springfield and Jillian M. and Sergio VidaNova of Myakka City, Florida, and her seven dear grandchildren, Taytum Theriaque, Sandra VidaNova, Gio VidaNova, Charles VidaNova, Parker Theriaque, Evelyn VidaNova, and Lourenço VidaNova. She also leaves behind many brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, as well as many friends that were with her throughout her journey. Calling hours will take place at Curran Jones Funeral Home, 109 Main Street, West Springfield on Saturday, October 18, 2025 from 2-4, followed by a ceremony directly afterwards at the funeral home.
