Obituary

Beverly A. (Whitehead) McCullough, 84, entered into eternal rest at home on Saturday, April 13, 2024 surrounded by her loving family and BFF Colleen R.  Born in Springfield, daughter of the late Wallace and Florence (LeCour) Whitehead, she was a lifelong resident of Agawam and a 1958 graduate of Agawam High School.  Beverly was a school crossing guard for the Town of Agawam for many years, with many years at the former Pierce Elementary School.  After her retiring, she had her own home cleaning business until she retired in 1999.  She enjoyed traveling, caring for her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, camping and she was a die hard Boston Bruins fan.  She was a communicant of the former St. Theresa's Church and presently a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.  She leaves her husband of sixty-four years, Benjamin M. McCullough, Jr., a son and his wife, Timothy B. and Lori McCullough of Feeding Hills, two daughters and their husbands, Donna M. and Steve Cieboter of Feeding Hills, Amy J. and Michael Keeney of Southwick, a brother, Wallace Whitehead and his wife Carol of Feeding Hills, five grandchildren, Erin Roch and her husband Mike, Shannon Colby and her fiancé Christopher Donah, Victoria McCullough, Tyler Keeney and Kyle Cieboter,  two great-grandchildren, Ashlyn and Ainsley Roch, her Godson, Joseph Martin, her two Goddaughters, Sharon Rittter and Michelle Golec and several nieces and nephews. She will be deeply missed by her life long best friends Red and Mary Martin.  She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Whitehead and his wife Joan in 2023, and their son, Robbie in 2022, her sister, Shirley Wagner in 2019, and her brother-in-law, Glenn Trombley in 2020.  A special thank you to Baystate Hospice and all of her wonderful caregivers, her BFF Colleen R., Kathy F., Kathy B., Diane B., Lisa K., Kathy R., Erika B., Elena D., Lisa D. and her wonderful neighbor and caregiver Anna E.
