Bonnie (Taylor) Michel, 82, died Friday at Wingate West Springfield. She was a Town Meeting Member, Precinct One & Two  Neighborhood Committee member for the Town of West Springfield. Bonnie served as treasurer of the Oxford Place Tenants Association and served as one of the co-ordinators of the WS chapter of the food program SERVE. She was a member of the family camping group, Pioneer Valley Chapter #8 of NAFCA. She leaves her daughter Tracy Michel of West Springfield, a son James of Springfield, granddaughter Carree Michel and her boyfriend Patrick Coughlin, daughter-in-law Crystal and her son Grant, brother Douglas Taylor and his wife Marilyn and sister Melody Stark and her husband Bill. She was predeceased by her husband Richard, son Wayne, sister Sherry Taylor and her parents James H. R. and C. Jean (Honiker) Taylor. The committal service will be Friday at 3pm at the Massachusetts Veterans Cemetery. No calling hours. West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
