Bruce H. Jacobs, 82, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 9, 2026 at Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Springfield, son of the late Ralph and Nancy (Hodges) Jacobs, he lived in Springfield most of his life before moving to West Springfield.  Bruce worked for over fifteen years for the United States Postal and previously worked for Reynolds and Reynolds.  He was an army veteran of the Vietnam War and a member of the West Springfield Covenant Community Church.  He leaves his former wife, Antje Magdalena (Ultee) Jacobs. The funeral will be Saturday, January 24, 2026 at 10am at the West Springfield Covenant Community Church, 112 Amostown Road, West Springfield. The burial will be private in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
