Carl D. LaCombe, 52, entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 23, 2015 in St. Vincent Hospital in Worcester. Born in Salem, MA, he was a 1981 graduate of Easthampton High School. He also attended Springfield Technical Community College. He moved to South Hadley in 1996 and previously lived in Northampton. Carl worked as a currier for twenty years for FedEx. He enjoyed biking, hiking with his family, woodworking and cayaking. He especially took pleasure in watching his son's sporting events. He leaves his wife of twenty-one years, Janie T. (Dauphin) LaCombe, two sons, Casey A. LaCombe, Colin D. LaCombe both at home, his mother, Shirley (Bernier) LaCombe of Athol, a brother, James LaCombe of South Hadley, two sisters, Paula Dylongowski of Pennsylvania, Denise LaCombe of Florida and nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, Paul LaCombe. The funeral will be Saturday at 9am from the CURRAN-O'BRIEN FUNERAL HOME, 33 Lamb Street with a Mass in St. Patrick's Church at 10. The burial will be private. Calling hours are Friday from 4-7pm.
