Carmella A. Lepore

1930 – 2021

Feeding Hills – Carmella A. (Buoniconti) Lepore, 91 of Feeding Hills, passed away peacefully on March 25 ^th at Baystate Medical Center.  Born in Springfield the daughter of the late Joseph and Rose Buoniconti, Carmella was a resident of Springfield before moving to Feeding Hills in 1969.  She was a homemaker, proud of her Italian Heritage, and loved her family and friends.  She was a devoted communicant of Mt. Carmel Church in Springfield before moving to Sacred Heart Church in Feeding Hills.  She loved playing Bingo, trips to the casino, and cooking her favorite Italian dishes, while embracing the love of the family and friends.  Carmella will be deeply missed by her husband Albert F. Lepore and would have been celebrating their 73 ^rd wedding anniversary on the 29 ^th of March.  Sadly, Carmella was predeceased by her son Albert F. Lepore Jr. in 1958.  She leaves two daughters Patty and Linda both of Holyoke; a grandson Thomas F. Lepore and his significant other Jillian Jaworski and her son Orion Shearer; a great granddaughter Jessica Lepore Brewer and her husband Ray Brewer, her great great grandchildren Brayden Lepore and Chloe Brewer and a boatful of nieces and nephews.  Per Carmella's wishes, a private graveside service will take place at a later date in St. Thomas Cemetery, where she can be reunited with her son.  The West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements.  For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Agawam Senior Center, where Carmella was a member or the American Cancer Society.
