Agawam-Carol A. Aldridge, 65, died Thursday June 18 ^th at Baystate Medical Center. She was born in Springfield, MA to the late Henry and Frances (Maggio) Maskowski. Carol graduated from Enrico Fermi High School in Enfield in 1973. She lived and raised a beautiful family in Agawam for most of her life. Carol was passionate about animals and enjoyed volunteering for Animal Friends of CT for several years but most of all she loved spending time with her seven grandchildren, she absolutely adored them. She leaves her loving husband of 47 years, Joseph Aldridge, her son Justin Aldridge and his wife Megan of Hingham, her daughter Jennifer Derleth of East Granby, CT, brother David Maskowski and his wife Annie of East Longmeadow, two sisters Ellyn Boyer of Niantic, CT and Susan Chase and her husband Larry of Enfield and her seven grandchildren Hadley, Claire, William and Charlie Aldridge and Austin, Ryan and Nicholas Derleth. Carol's family would like to thank the nurses and staff at Baystate Oncology for the incredible care provided to Carol and the entire family. Carol was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend and will forever be missed. The funeral will be held Tuesday June 23 ^rd starting with calling hours at Agawam Curran-Jones Funeral Home from 9:00 to 11:00 am with a funeral home service at 11:00 am.
