WEST SPRINGFIELD – Carol B. Beaver, 58 of Ohio Avenue died Monday at home surrounded by her family. Carol was born in Yonkers, New York the daughter of Burton Beaver and the late Sylvia (Dimmerman) Beaver. She was raised in New Rochelle NY. A Certified Financial Planner, Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant, Carol had worked for 24 years with Vinson Associates in Springfield. An avid tennis player, she was a member of the Field Club of Longmeadow. She enjoyed long walks and loved her gardens. She leaves her husband Hans Doup; a son Matthew of West Springfield; a sister Janis Beaver of Flemington, NJ and her father Burton Beaver of Ardsley, NY. A private funeral will be held at the convenience of the family and the West Springfield Curran-Jones Funeral Home is handling all arrangements. For online condolences please visit curranjones.com.
