Carol (Bradshaw) Griffin, 84, was called to eternal rest on December 25, 2018 after a brief illness. Carol was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY. She graduated from Providence Hospital School of Nursing in 1955. She was retired from Mt. Holyoke College Health Center where she worked as a full-time RN for 30 Years. She also worked for O'Connell Professional Nurse Service for many years as an RN. Carol was a communicant of St. Theresa's Church for over 50 years. She was the beloved daughter of Edna (Marshall) Bradshaw and George Bradshaw. She leaves behind her dear Sister, Mary Bradshaw of Ridgewood, NJ, and her dear Brother, George Bradshaw (Lucille) of Red Bank, NJ and her beloved children, Mary Metz (Simon) of Brooklyn, NY, Michael Griffin (Mary Lou) of Exton, PA, Thomas Griffin (Susanne) of North Reading MA, Kathleen Os (Gene) of South Hadley, MA, Jo-Anne Flores (Edil) of Quincy, MA, Daniel Griffin (Lisa) of Stowe, Vermont, her beloved grandchildren Brianna, Carley and Ross Griffin, Gabriella, Amanda and Edil Flores, Dylan, Parker and Spencer Griffin and Patrick and Julia Griffin and many Nieces and Nephews and Great Nieces and Nephews. Carol had a big heart and always put others first. Carol and her family would like to thank the Nurses and Patient Care Technicians on the S3 Oncology Floor of Baystate Medical Center. The funeral will be Saturday January 5, 2019 at 10:00 am in St. Theresa's Church followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery, Holyoke. Calling hours at the Curran-O'Brien Funeral Home will be Friday January 4, 2019 from 4:00 to 7:00pm. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation towards planting a tree in memory of Carol.
